The 2019 Hyundai Veloster is Now Available in Toronto!
Tired of the same old, same old? Step outside of the conventional with the all-new 2019 Hyundai Veloster. When you want a car that’s going to get noticed, give you a thrill every time you’re behind the wheel, and offers unimaginable options for the price, this is it! And now, the 2019 Hyundai Veloster is available in Toronto when you visit Rexdale Hyundai.
The Hyundai Veloster starts with an extremely bold three-door hatchback design – your typical front doors plus a hidden suicide-style rear door on the passenger side. From there, Hyundai’s wide cascading grille, LED headlights, and LED daytime running lights add a threatening, high performance look to the front.
Sculpted bodylines draw your eyes across the hood and blacked-out roof to the rear. A wideopening hatch is flanked by LED taillights with dazzling, distinctively Hyundai cues. Centred on the rear fascia are dual exhaust outlets, adding to the sporty styling of the 2019 Hyundai Veloster. And complimenting the exterior design are the wheels – standard 18-inch alloy wheels that are available in three styles.
Interior Comfort and Tech
Between the doors, the Hyundai Veloster pushes the boundaries for its class. Standard features will blow your mind – heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, sport fabric seating with blue stitching, power locks, auto-down power driver’s window, and Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are just some of them. Leather seating surfaces are available for higher trim levels also.
The infotainment system is impressive also. Standard equipment is a 7-inch touchscreen that incorporates Bluetooth hands-free technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Integration, iPod, USB, and auxiliary connectivity, and steering mounted controls.
An upgrade to an 8-inch touchscreen is available, a wide-style power sunroof and wireless charging are options, and a fantastic Head Up Display rounds out the interior tech.
A car like the 2019 Hyundai Veloster stakes its name on being fun to drive. That’s certainly the case with two efficient yet inspired engine choices. A 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder is the entry-level option, but it’s no slouch. It’s paired with your choice of six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission, giving you exceptional control inside your Veloster. Your other choice is a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that ups the fun-to-drive factor. It’s up to you: a six-speed manual shifter or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for snappy, responsive shifts.
Looking for more performance and more sportiness yet? Don’t worry, the 2019 Hyundai lineup includes the Veloster N.
With the Hyundai Veloster N, you get intensely sporty styling cues like an N-exclusive large rear spoiler, front and rear fascia’s with red accents, alloy entrance sills, and an N-exclusive sport steering wheel. Lightweight 19-inch alloy wheels round out the looks.
Under the hood is a 275-horsepower 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder paired with a revmatching six-speed manual gearbox. With selectable track-tuned drive modes and Continuous Damping Control suspension, the Veloster N will stay under your control.
